This policy explains what personal information Fabronix Laser Tech Pvt. Ltd. collects when you use this website or send us an enquiry, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what control you have over it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
Fabronix Laser Tech Pvt. Ltd. (“Fabronix”, “we”, “us”) is a sheet metal fabrication company registered in India, operating from Narnarayan Industrial Park-2, Plot No: 22, near Dharmik Weigh Bridge, Kubadthal, Gujarat 382430, India.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Fabronix is the data fiduciary (controller) responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@fabronixlaser.com.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a limited amount of technical data that is generated automatically when any website is visited.
Information you provide directly
- Enquiry form — your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message.
- Request for Quotation form — the above, plus the service and material you need, quantity, project timeline, part specifications, and any file you attach.
- Direct contact — if you email or call us, we keep the correspondence and any details it contains so we can answer you and maintain a record of the enquiry.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs — our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
- Third-party embeds — the map and web fonts on this site are loaded from Google. Those services receive your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering the content. See Cookies and third-party services.
We do not ask for and do not want financial information, government identification numbers, or any special category data. Please do not send these through the forms on this site.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us for a short and specific list of purposes:
- To review your enquiry for manufacturability and prepare a quotation.
- To contact you about that enquiry, ask clarifying questions and send you the quote.
- To manufacture, inspect and dispatch parts if you place an order, and to handle delivery and any subsequent support.
- To keep business records required for tax, accounting, warranty and quality-management purposes, including our ISO 9001:2015 obligations.
- To protect the site and our systems against misuse, fraud or security incidents.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list on the basis of a quotation request alone.
Drawings, files and confidentiality
This section matters more than most for our customers, so we have set it out separately.
Any drawing, CAD file, specification or sample you send us — DXF, DWG, STEP, PDF or otherwise — is treated as your confidential commercial information. We use it only to quote and to manufacture the parts you have asked for. We do not share it with third parties except where a specific operation on your job requires it, and we do not use your designs to produce parts for anyone else.
Access to customer drawings is limited to the engineering, production and quality staff who need them to do the work. If your project requires a signed non-disclosure agreement before you send anything, contact us first and we will put one in place.
Legal basis for processing
Where Indian data protection law applies, we process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, and for the legitimate uses permitted under that law — principally responding to a request you have voluntarily made.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to a visitor, our legal bases are: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one (quoting and supplying parts); our legitimate interests (running and securing the business, keeping enquiry records); and compliance with legal obligations (tax and company law record-keeping).
When we share information
We share personal data only in these circumstances:
- Service providers — our web host, email provider and IT support, who process data on our instructions and are bound to keep it confidential.
- Logistics partners — the name, address and contact number needed to deliver your order.
- Professional advisers — accountants, auditors and certification bodies, where a review genuinely requires it.
- Legal requirement — where we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or a lawful request from a public authority.
Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your data remains protected to the standard described in this policy.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not use browser storage to profile visitors.
Two third-party services are embedded in the site and may set cookies or receive your IP address when the relevant page loads:
- Google Maps — the location map on our contact page is served by Google.
- Google Fonts — the typeface used across the site is loaded from Google’s font service.
These services operate under Google’s own privacy policy, which we do not control. You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings; the map may stop working if you do.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry correspondence and quotation records for as long as there is an active or reasonably foreseeable business relationship, and thereafter only as long as we need to for legal, tax and quality-record purposes.
Where an enquiry does not lead to an order, we delete or anonymise the enquiry and any attached drawings once it is clear the project is not proceeding, unless you ask us to retain them for a future order. Records relating to completed orders are kept for the period required by Indian tax and company law and by our quality management system.
How we protect your data
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold: access controls on our systems, encrypted connections to this website, restricted access to customer drawings, and staff who are instructed on handling customer information.
No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it.
- Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated.
- Ask us to erase your data where we no longer have a valid reason to keep it.
- Withdraw consent you have given, at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Object to or ask us to restrict certain processing.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity, where the applicable law provides for this.
- Complain to the relevant data protection authority if you believe we have handled your data improperly.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@fabronixlaser.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children’s privacy
This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices, services or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where a change materially affects how we handle your personal data, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
